Share your bed bug horror story

If you have a story to share with other then please make your comments with us.  Just to start things off; 85 Wellesley St. E Toronto is completely infested with bed bugs and the management is apparently well aware of it and nothing is being done.  I am a victim at this address and had already file a landlord tenant board hearing to get reimbursed for my lost of bed, clothing and dressers.  Also there is a mice infestation which an order has been issued to the owner to do something about it.

I had Toronto Public Health to come and confirm that my unit is infested and it is well confirmed.  Also, my neighbour next to me is infested as well.

Before deciding to rent an apartment at this address or any address do your research first as I learned the hard way.

To search addresses for orders issued against a specific address just visit http://app.toronto.ca/InvestigationActivity/search.do and click on "search investigation status" and "investigation activity"  this is easy to use.

Also, visit the bed bug registry at http://bedbugregistry.com/location/ON/M4Y/Toronto/85%20Wellesley%20St%20E now I would like to ask if anyone is having the same issues at my address to PLEASE post your comments as I would like to have testimonies before my hearing on March 5th.

To file your own hearing here is a link to the needed form T6.  It costs only $45 to submit but if you have several tenants at the same address filing the same form then it is $45 for the first unit then $5 for each additional unit.  So, with a group just calculate the complete total and divide equally as this would be easier for everyone.

Visit http://www.ltb.gov.on.ca/stdprodconsume/groups/csc/@ltb/@forms/documents/form/stel02_111593.pdf it is an online fill-able form and once done just print it off and it does come out nice and neat and easier to read as opposed to a hand written form.  Visit back later as I will be sharing pictures of my bed and how bad the infestation is.

  2. I am SO sorry you had to go through all this! Moved here recently from NYC and had a similar horror story. I've been looking for a similar government website resource, so bless you for providing one! I'm curious if things worked out with your court case?

    Best of luck!

  3. Neem oil is an excellent natural pesticide that can be applied to fruit, vegetables, and flowers. Neem oil contains the active ingredient azadirachtin, which kills insects by disrupting their life cycle. Get more interesting details about 24-hour pest control this site.
